Refund, Cancellation & GST Policy

Stringularity is a GST-registered Proprietorship Firm. By purchasing any course, class, workshop or booking our music band services, you agree to the following Refund, Cancellation and GST Policy. This forms part of our Terms & Conditions.

1. Online Recorded Courses

• All recorded course purchases are final and non-refundable.
• Since access to digital content is provided immediately after successful payment, no refund, exchange or cancellation will be entertained once access has been granted.
• Course access is strictly for the registered student and cannot be transferred, shared or resold.
• Duplicate payments made due to technical errors will be refunded after verification.

2. Online Courses with Live Doubt-Clearing Sessions

• The recorded course remains non-refundable once access has been provided.
• Live doubt-clearing sessions are included as a complimentary learning support and are not separately chargeable.
• Students who miss live doubt-clearing sessions due to personal reasons are not eligible for refunds, replacement sessions or fee adjustments.
• Stringularity reserves the right to reschedule live sessions in case of unavoidable circumstances. Students will be informed in advance whenever reasonably possible.

3. One-to-One Live Violin Classes

Before the First Class

• Cancellation requested at least 48 hours before the first scheduled class is eligible for a refund after deducting applicable payment gateway charges, bank charges and GST adjustments, wherever applicable.

After the First Class

• Once the first class has been conducted, no refund shall be provided.
• Monthly fees, package fees and advance payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Missed Classes

• Classes missed without prior notice will be treated as completed.
• If informed at least 24 hours in advance, one rescheduling request per month may be accommodated subject to instructor availability.
• Classes cancelled by Stringularity will always be rescheduled at no additional cost.

4. Workshops, Masterclasses & Special Events

• Registration fees are non-refundable.
• If Stringularity cancels the event, participants may choose either a full refund, or transfer to the next available batch or event.

5. Stringularity Music Band Booking

Booking Confirmation

• A booking is confirmed only after receipt of the agreed advance payment.

Cancellation by Client

• All advance payments are non-refundable.
• More than 30 days before the event — one-time rescheduling may be permitted, subject to date availability.
• Within 30 days of the event — no refund or rescheduling shall be provided.

Balance Payment

• The remaining balance must be paid as agreed before or on the performance date.

Cancellation by Stringularity

• In the unlikely event that Stringularity is unable to perform due to unforeseen emergencies or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, every reasonable effort will be made to provide an alternative performance date or a suitable replacement artist. If neither option is possible, all payments received shall be refunded in full.

6. Technical Issues

Stringularity shall not be responsible for refunds arising from:

• Poor internet connectivity.
• Power failures.
• Device or software incompatibility.
• Failure to join scheduled online sessions.
• Any technical issue originating from the student's side.

Students are responsible for ensuring they have a stable internet connection and a suitable device before joining online classes.

7. Learning Commitment & Progress

Learning music is a gradual process that requires regular attendance, consistent practice and individual effort. Therefore:

• Refunds shall not be granted due to lack of personal practice, slow progress, change of interest, inability to dedicate sufficient time, or dissatisfaction arising from personal expectations regarding learning speed or outcomes.
• Stringularity does not guarantee that every student will achieve a particular level of performance within a specific time frame, as learning outcomes vary based on dedication, practice habits, aptitude and attendance.
• Students are expected to actively participate in lessons and practise regularly to achieve the best possible results.

8. GST & Tax Policy

• Stringularity is a GST-registered Proprietorship Firm, and GST shall be charged as applicable under the Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 and related rules.
• A valid GST Tax Invoice will be issued for all applicable transactions.
• Wherever refunds are approved, they shall be processed in accordance with applicable GST provisions.
• GST already deposited with the Government may be adjusted or refunded only as permitted under applicable tax laws.
• Payment gateway charges, bank charges, transaction fees and any applicable taxes may be deducted from the refundable amount wherever legally permissible.

9. Mode of Refund

• Approved refunds shall be processed only through the original mode of payment.
• Refund requests must be submitted in writing by email.
• Approved refunds are generally processed within 7–14 working days, subject to banking timelines.

10. Exceptional Circumstances

Any refund outside this policy shall be entirely at the sole discretion of Stringularity. Approval of an exception in one instance shall not constitute a precedent or create any obligation for future requests.
