Vishnu began under his mother, Smt. Ambika Varma C. He has trained for over 20 years under Prof. S. Easwara Varma, and has also learned under Vidwan K J Diliip. He continues advanced training in Hindustani classical violin under Pandit Milind Raikar.
Today he mentors students across the world while performing in classical concerts, fusion projects, dance accompaniments, and recording sessions.

No. The Beginner Course is built for complete beginners. You do not need to know Carnatic music, Western music, notation, or even how to hold a violin. Everything is taught from the fundamentals, in sequence.
Children can usually begin from six years of age, once they can follow instructions and stay attentive through a class. There is no upper limit. Students range from school children to working professionals and retirees. Adults often understand concepts faster, even if children build muscle memory quicker.
Yes. Since the course is online, every student needs access to a violin for regular practice. If you do not own one yet, we will help you choose the right size and suggest suitable beginner instruments.
Yes, when the lessons are structured, explanations are clear, practice is regular, and feedback is available. Musicians worldwide now learn this way. What decides the outcome is not online versus offline. It is consistency.
Yes. Carnatic training builds control over pitch, finger accuracy, bow control, ear training, and expression, which makes film songs considerably easier to play. Many well known Indian film violinists are classically trained. The course also covers how to apply Carnatic technique to popular melodies, devotional music, light music, fusion, and Western pieces.
